Another young Israeli AI startup is attracting big names. According to a Calcalist report by Meir Orbach, Two Delta, a company that operates relatively secretly and has fewer than ten employees, has raised tens of millions of dollars in a seed round. Investors include hedge fund manager Bill Ackman and former Google CEO Eric Schmidt. The exact round size and valuation were not disclosed.

Who is behind it

Two Delta was founded in 2025 by Dvir Zeltzer and Dr. Eli David. David is a well-known deep learning researcher and entrepreneur in Israel, and was among other things a co-founder of cybersecurity company Deep Instinct, one of the first to use deep learning to detect malware.

What it does

According to reports, the company develops a technology called DCOCO, meant to make running AI models faster and more efficient. It has also built EvoWeb, a benchmark that tests AI agents that write code for web applications. It is an especially hot field: the cost of running models, not just training them, has become one of AI companies' biggest expenses.

The trend

Two Delta joins a series of very small Israeli startups raising large sums at an early stage thanks to their founders' track records. Ackman himself has recently expanded his activity in Israeli tech, and also joined a round for defense-tech company Kela that valued it at more than $1 billion.
