Accessibility statement
Techwire is committed to providing an equal and accessible service to all readers, including people with disabilities. The site has been adapted in line with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013, and Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.0 at level AA.
What we have done: a hierarchical, semantic heading structure; a "Skip to content" link at the top of every page; full keyboard navigation with a clear focus indicator; colour contrast that meets the required ratio; screen reader support, including descriptions for meaningful images and labels for buttons; a control to pause the moving headline ticker; respect for the system setting to reduce motion; and layouts that adapt to every screen size and to zoom of up to 200%.
The accessibility menu (the button in the corner of the screen) lets you enlarge text, switch on high contrast, highlight links, stop animations and switch to a readable font. Your preferences are saved in your browser.
The site has been checked with automated accessibility testing tools and by manual keyboard navigation testing. Despite our efforts, some parts may not yet be fully accessible, for example external content such as images from free media libraries or links to other sites.
Found an accessibility problem? We would like to hear about it and fix it. Accessibility coordinator: Eyal Abuksis-Levi · Email: editor@techwire.co.il.
