Camtek, which develops chip inspection and metrology systems, will publish third-quarter results today (Wednesday), with an investor video call at 9:00 a.m. New York time, 4:00 p.m. in Israel. But the key figure is already known: in mid-October the company pre-announced quarterly revenue of $160 million to $161 million, up 27% from a year earlier and above its own guidance.

Camtek also issued an ambitious outlook. For the fourth quarter it expects revenue of about $180 million, up 40%, bringing 2026 revenue to about $595 million, a company record. And in an initial 2027 outlook it expects revenue of more than $800 million, growth of more than 35%. Today we will also see margins and operating income, which have not yet been published.

Camtek's growth is directly tied to AI. The advanced chips used in AI accelerators, especially HBM memory, are packaged using complex methods in which several chips are stacked, and every layer needs precise inspection. That is exactly Camtek's specialty, and demand comes from memory makers and chip packagers supplying Nvidia, AMD and other chipmakers.

Camtek joins the Israeli chip companies reporting records this week: Tower posted $526 million in revenue on Monday and said it will hire 150 employees, and Nova reports tomorrow. They illustrate the side of Israeli tech benefiting from the AI wave while software companies lay off. We will update when the full report is published.
