Amdocs, the telecom software provider whose largest development center is in Ra'anana, published fourth-quarter and fiscal 2026 results with two strategic announcements. First, it is entering insurance by acquiring EIS, a San Francisco-based insurance software company. According to the investor presentation filed with the SEC, the price is $340 million; EIS has about 700 employees and dozens of customers worldwide, and builds a core platform for policies, billing, claims and customer engagement.
Second, Amdocs signed an eight-year strategic agreement with AT&T, its largest and longest-standing customer, around its aOS platform, which brings AI into the systems telecom operators run. Amdocs sees the same platform as the basis for selling to insurers.
Fiscal 2026 revenue reached $4.70 billion, up 3.6%, and non-GAAP EPS rose 6% to $7.41. Fourth-quarter GAAP operating margin rose to 15.8%.
The 2027 outlook looks alarming at first: reported revenue down 14.3% to 17.9%. But the company says the 2026 base was adjusted by about $360 million, and in pro forma constant currency the expected decline is 7% to 11%. For 2028 management expects a return to mid-single-digit growth.
