Apple will publish results for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026 tomorrow (Monday), after the Wall Street close. The report comes days after Apple again became the world's most valuable company, as Nvidia shares fell on concerns about AI spending. Correction: in an earlier story we wrote that Apple would report on Thursday, but the report date is tomorrow.
What to expect
Apple guided to revenue growth of 9% to 11% from a year earlier, and to more than 10% growth in iPhone sales. Analyst consensus is around $113 billion in revenue. Goldman Sachs expects iPhone revenue to jump 15% to about $56.6 billion, driven by the iPhone 18 series. For comparison, last quarter Apple's revenue grew 16% to $109.4 billion.
The big question: AI
While Microsoft, Google and Amazon spend hundreds of billions of dollars on AI infrastructure, Apple has taken a much more cautious approach. Until recently that was seen as a weakness, but in a week when the market punished those who spend too much, it suddenly looks like an advantage. Investors will look for updates on the new Siri and Apple's AI strategy, and on the effect of high memory prices on margins.
The Israeli angle
Apple has one of its largest R&D centers outside the US in Israel, in Herzliya and Haifa, working among other things on chip design and memory. Some of the technology in the devices Apple will report on tomorrow was developed here.
