Another Israeli cybersecurity startup has stepped out with a significant raise. Mave, a Tel Aviv company founded in 2025, announced it has raised $34 million so far: a $28 million Series A led by Red Dot Capital Partners with participation from Lumir Growth Partners, and an earlier $6 million seed round. Existing investors Dell Technologies Capital and Emerge Ventures also took part in the new round.
What the company does
Every large organization has a security operations center (SOC) that receives thousands of alerts a day, most of which turn out to be false positives. Mave develops AI agents that connect to the organization's existing security tools, investigate the alerts, filter out false positives and carry out pre-approved actions. According to the company, the system does not require customers to centralize all their data, and it combines purpose-trained small language models with frontier models.
Who is behind it
Mave was founded by CEO Raziel Oren and Guy Eshel, both veterans of Unit 8200. Oren previously led go-to-market at Wing Security. The company has about 30 employees and plans to double the team with the new money, mainly for market expansion and AI research. It reports recurring revenue growth of more than 400%, a figure that has not been independently verified.
A crowded market
Mave is entering one of the hottest and most crowded areas in cybersecurity: automating security operations centers with AI agents. Many companies, Israeli and international, are competing for the same budgets, and Mandiant's founder recently raised $190 million for a company in a similar field. Mave's challenge will be to prove its agents are accurate enough for organizations to trust them to act on their own, not just recommend.
